The 2026 Islamabad United season is the franchise cricket team's participation in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL), the eleventh season of the tournament. Islamabad United, based in Islamabad, will compete in the league for the eleventh consecutive year since its inception in 2016.

Background

The PSL expanded in 2026 from six to eight teams, increasing the number of matches and competition.^[1]

Squad

The final squad will be announced following the 2026 PSL draft, scheduled for late 2025. As of the 2025 season, key players included Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, and Alex Hales.

Coaching and management

Islamabad United is expected to retain head coach Azhar Mahmood for the 2026 season.^[2]

Fixtures

The 2026 PSL is expected to begin in February. Islamabad United will play at least ten league matches due to the expanded format. Full fixture details will be announced by the PCB closer to the season start.
