Cardiovascular disease Nepal . More than 27% of total mortalities is attributed to cardiovascular disease in Nepal .[ 1] Om Murti Anil in Kathmandu in 2014.[ 2]
According to the Nepal Health Research Council and the World Health Organization , cardiovascular diseases are one of the major components of non-communicable diseases that kill two-thirds of Nepalese people.[ 3] [ 4] Cardiovascular health awareness in Nepal has improved and looks promising to mitigate the burden of disease.[ 5]
