Kumar Saurabh (born 12 September 1992) is an Indian actor born in Faridabad, Haryana, India. He is known for his work in Hindi films, television, and web series.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
Kumar Saurabh was born on 12 September 1992 in Faridabad, Haryana, and raised in Katihar, Bihar. Interested in performing arts from a young age, he pursued his graduation in Political Science from D.S. College, Katihar. Later, he received formal acting training at the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama (2012–2013) in Bhopal, where he learned stagecraft, acting techniques, and voice modulation.[4][5][6][7]
Personal life
Kumar hails from a simple middle-class family and has tow brother and one sister. Though he faced criticism in early years due to his short height, his mother constant encouragement gave him the strength to chase his dream. He is currently unmarried and lives in Mumbai. Outside of acting, he enjoys travelling, reading and dancing.[8][9][10]
Career
Kumar Started his acting journey with theatre in Delhi under renowned director Robin Das. After moving to Mumbai in 2014, he work in popular TV shows like Crime Petrol, and soon made his film debut.[11][12] His breakthrough role came in 2016 with the film Laal Rang, where he played Shani Baba. Since then, he has played notable characters across films, web series, and television, often praised for his natural performances and comic timing.[13][14]
