Hi. I don't see how one direction is different than the other, in the same way that I don't see how ascending sort order is better than descending. Of course, changelogs list the latest items first. Let's stick with the original. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 19:13, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Since the line numbers aren't moving with the lines, neither really make sense to me. In that case it comes down to aesthetics which are entirely subjective. I personally, see the logic in the argument in favour of scrolling down, but am not sure which I prefer visually. fredgandt17:14, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If there's no clear opposition in the next two days (and nobody else does it first), I think it's trivial enough, so will switch them over. fredgandt19:11, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This strikes me as a change in scope, not a simple rename. It seems like we should require a consensus to expand the scope before taking the technical step of changing the title. PowersT21:10, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose we should just build a new portal for SoftDev, and SoftEng is definitely a different topic altogether, and should not be renamed to that. Computer programming is just coding, SoftDev means addressing what is the focus of a project, why are you making such an application, what are the human-interface concerns. SoftEng is a process, including documentation, and ISO-9001 stuff; also Computer Science needs a separate portal from these three topics. -- 70.24.249.39 (talk) 06:01, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
