Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

Why should it be that way? Was it voted upon over there. Since most athletic pages are new, maybe they haven't had a chance to change it yet. Maybe we should change the Template:Pacific Ten Conference. It is all about making Wikipedia better. I feel that we should have the athletic pages because conference are mainly created for athletic reasons. My experience was that for academic competition we went mainly by geography not conference. I'd like to know how others feel. --vossman15:44, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Lady Bears, and Cowgirls just doesn't seem right. i believe at a&m there are lady aggies too. I believe we are just providing links to the names of the pages listed. thoughts? Oldag0718:38, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Since the editor who changed the color won't explain why, I'm going to revert it. It's an odd color. Perhaps we should try to match up with the grey in the Big 12 logo. I don't think trying to match the red would be a good idea since several Big 12 schools use red as one of their colors (i.e. Texas Tech, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa State). The grey is currently used on the side. Perhpas put it at the top and change the side bar to red since the top is what is seen when the main part of the template is hidden. →Wordbuilder (talk) 14:51, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It should be the colors from the Big 12 logo. That was the general idea, and they were sampled using a digital color meter. The trouble is they aren't web-safe colors. "Won't explain why" is a bit harsh, I wasn't asked... Whatever happened to WP:AGF? Thanks. Yellowspacehopper (talk) 16:44, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't intend it to sound harsh. After I posted, it occurred to me that you might not be watching this page. I held off on reverting the change and contacted you on your talk page. It does look better. Do you think red on top will make too much red on the pages of the schools that also have it as a primary color? →Wordbuilder (talk) 17:28, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe the Texas Tech and Iowa State pages look a little red dominated, but generally it seems Ok. Saying that, I wouldn't object particularly about swapping the gray and red, for instance, if you think it would be better fit. Yellowspacehopper (talk) 20:25, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I swapped them. That should make it stand out since none of the schools use grey as a primary. Thanks for your help. I think all of the Big 12-related templates should follow this color scheme instead of the generic blue they're using now. →Wordbuilder (talk) 21:13, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
