Edit Request{{editprotected}} Could an administrator please add the following code: [[Category:{{{1}}}'s Bots]] in includeonly tags? It would be incredibly usefull for tracking all bot accounts by a specific user. Thanks! Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 09:59, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Gap after tag{{Editprotected}} There is a gap under the all the tag code between where the actual bot message ends and the <noinclude> tags start. Please fix, and make the <noinclude> tag appear immediately after all the tag code ends. +spebi ~ 08:07, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
It is slightly different with div tags, which probably makes other users' feel the need to add the gap at the end: See how the borders are touching each other?
So what edit exactly should be made? --ais523 16:43, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
|}<noinclude>{{Bot/doc}} instead of |} <noinclude>{{Bot/doc}}

Changed to ombox, since it is only used in "other" namespaces. --- RockMFR 22:30, 21 September 2008 (UTC) Edits in futureJust to warn everyone ahead of time that there is discussion going on the bot owners' noticeboard regarding a proposed overhaul of the categories that govern bots and their classification. In light of this, this bot template could be used as a much more powerful tool in future. Don't worry, all existing templates will still work! Anyhow, all discussion welcome (best there, I think, rather than here). - Jarry1250 (t, c) 10:00, 20 February 2009 (UTC) by user talk code break{{editprotected}} Remove one of the '}' from the end of the first parameter after 'user talk'. Fix category inclusion
Minor fix{{editprotected}} When the AWB=yes parameter is called, the resulting statement reads: "This user account is a bot that uses AutoWikiBrowser,operated by <user> (talk)" As you can see, there is no space between the comma and "operated". A very small problem I know but we grammar gnomes will thank you. Robert Skyhawk So sue me! (You'll lose) 04:41, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Protection loweredI've lowered the protection so the above folks can assist in tweaking this template to be all nice-like. Once the template is stable, feel free to jack it back up. –xeno (talk) 13:35, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Unapproved botsWhen the template is set with status=unapproved, it says:
(emphasis added). The two sentences are slightly inconsistent. I suggest changing this to something like:
(changes highlighted). This makes the two sentences compatible with each other and with policy, which allows unapproved bots to edit inside their own and their operator's user / user talk space. Probably unnecessary disclaimer: I'm about to create such a bot. Olaf Davis (talk) 10:10, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
"Alternate"
Pywikipedia and PerlwikipediaDoes anyone mind if I add options for bots that use meta:Pywikipedia and/or meta:Perlwikipedia? Right now there is just AWB. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 01:04, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Block link is incorrect{{editprotected}} In the block link, "wpBlockExpiry=indefinite" does not function as intended. Please correct it to "wpBlockExpiry=infinite". Thanks. Anomie⚔ 15:33, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Edit request from 99.138.181.76, 21 August 2010{{editprotected}} Please copy the sandbox version into the main template. The only change this makes is replacing a comma with a semicolon. As an anon, I can't create the testcases pages, but I have tested the change via a preview of an edited version of the doc page. 99.138.181.76 (talk) 16:33, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
