Dimensions imperial vs. metric
It appears that this template always lists the metric dimensions first. This isn't always desirable; it'd be nice if the code could be improved so that artworks in weirdimperial countries could give preference to the units most familiar there. Cheers, Sdkbtalk04:44, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. For an American artist who created a work in America that is displayed in an American museum, such as The Migration Series, it is very strange/wrong for the infobox to display "30 cm × 46 cm (12 in × 18 in)"PK-WIKI (talk) 16:27, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
template improperly italicizes cjk and likely other non-latin-script 'other' titles.
See the infobox at Shigisan Engi Emaki where the |other_title_1= parameter renders as ja: 信貴山縁起絵巻.
MOS:FOREIGN specifically addresses this saying, in part: "Text written in non-Latin scripts such as Greek, Cyrillic, and Chinese should not be italicized or put in bold"
Consider replacing the existing |subheader= code with something like this (not extensively tested):
Asked a while ago and didn't get any offers of help, but wondering if anyone would be willing to help add a field for "Edition size" to this template? There are so many works of art with their own articles that were created in an edition of multiples, it would be super super useful to have an edition field for this infobox template. Thanks in advance if anyone is willing/able to assist. 19h00s (talk) 13:52, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
