It looks to me that tl:uncategorized should be changed to look like this one. Most of the other cleanup boxes are standard width and have an icon. CMummert · talk12:07, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
An opinion was expressed that {{uncategorized}} is the one which should be kept the same, and this one should be changed. Since in almost two weeks no one objected to it, please fix this one. OdMishehu11:40, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone object if this is redacted a little more? It's still significantly wider/wordier than its counterpart, in particular the "Please remove this tag after categorizing, but not before." (They do sometimes get erroneously removed, but whether this helps seems doubtful, and at worst it just results in some 'cyclic tagging'.) Alai05:39, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page is uncategorized. Please help improve this page by adding it to one or more categories, in addition to a stub category. (how?) Please remove this tag after categorizing, but not before.
This article has not been added to any categories. Please help out by adding categories to it so that it can be listed with similar articles, in addition to a stub category. Please remove this tag after categorizing.
I propose it is changed to
This stub article has not been added to any non-stub categories. Please help out by adding non-stub categories to it so that it can be grouped with similar articles. Please remove this tag after categorizing.
This wording more closely captures the intention of the template and avoid logical problems related to the question if stub-categories are categories or not. Jason Quinn (talk) 16:39, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps this version is slightly better:
This article is a stub and has not been added to any non-stub categories. Please help by adding non-stub categories to it so that it can be grouped with similar articles. Please remove this tag after categorizing.
