Notability of We All Want the Same ThingA tag has been placed on We All Want the Same Thing, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. Fair use rationale for Image:NeoCrimsonmon.gif![]() Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:NeoCrimsonmon.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. HeyIt's good to see you are enjoying contributing to wikipedia. Don't forget to always fill in the edit summary when making changes as it helps other users to see what has happened in the article history, it also helps you avoid your work being reverted as vandalism as non use of the edit summary box is one of the key red flags to the vandal patrollers. Also don't forget to sign your comments on talk pages by typing four tildes after your post like this ~~~~, when you hit save page the Wiki software will convert the tildes into your name and the date as you see after other peoples posts. Re:GTA imagesYou tell me why they are. Non-free images should only be used if the understanding of the topic could not be complete without them- they are a last resort. Take, for instance, File:GTAVC PC Gang Attack.jpg. Ok, so there was some controversy surrounding the perceived racism, but does it really mattered what it looked like to kill them? The issue is discussed briefly, and the appearance of the game has no real baring on the issue. The "Grammy winning" bit however, is definitely a unacceptable. It is POV and does not provide enough context to the reader. The lead sentence (the very first sentence) should be kept as basic as possible. That is not to say awards can't be mentioned later in the lead section. The category and nominated work should be mentioned, possibly the year depending on how the sentence is worded. - kollision (talk) 17:00, 17 May 2009 (UTC) NowCommons: File:Flo rida kfest.jpgFile:Flo rida kfest.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Flo rida kfest.jpg. Similar articles to Lupe Fiasco would be Kanye West and Common (entertainer). They are also popular R&B musicians from Chicago. West is already a GA, so maybe you might want to help Common. Since you don't have a user page it is hard to say what you might be interested in. I see from your edit history, that you do Comics related stuff. Powers (comics) might be an interesting subject. The TV adaptation is set in Chicago. I don't know if that is the case with the comic book, but that article needs some work. Per WP:SPS, an open wiki is not a source. And pop culture mentions need some kind of reason why they matter. Why is this important to the Space Needle? What influence did it have? For the arcade system field, it reads "The name of or names associated with the arcade game's system board hardware. In case of unique arcade hardware, omit this field and use those below." Sounds to me like Tekken 7 has a unique arcade hardware setup and it doesn't have a name. You've been warned about it many times from many editors, and this edit seems to even indicate that you know what you do is against policy, but you do it anyways. This is not acceptable. Final warning, or we're going to go hash this out at WP:ANI.
"Best" knownTo say that a subject is "best" known for a particular work or role is to make a judgment about their the body of their work or their roles in total which is subjective and itself requires citation; hence it is a violation of neutral point of view. Not everyone would necessarily agree on which role is an actor's "best" role nor know them for the same roles. Unless you have a citable source that indicates a subject is only known for a single role, or for one role above all others, leave it as "x is known for y", versus "x is best known for y". The fact that another article uses "best known" is irrelevant; see WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS. General Ization Talk 03:38, 4 April 2016 (UTC)

Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- ferret (talk) 20:15, 4 February 2017 (UTC) Orphaned non-free image File:Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4.jpg![]() Thanks for uploading File:Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4.jpg. There are already some sources that back up wp:notabiliy like his award from 0, his appearances in Kiwami 1, the poll, etc. However, that would require more sources more like critical reception which I find possible. The thing that might be more difficult is finding creation sources (although it was easy for Takayuki Yagami's sources). Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 13:54, 23 September 2019 (UTC) You know how WP:Notability works, right? We basically have to back up the character through third party sources like video game journalist and developers' comments. If you want to avoid a stub, I would suggest working on a sandbox. I think Majima can pass notability but I haven't played all Yakuza games post 2 so I can't work on his appearances section. For third party sources. I quickly found these:
The other fastest ways to find more reception might be through 0 and Kiwami 2 reviews too but don't be in a hurry. Also, if you wanna respond to another user in the same page just use the ping option "@Tintor2:" Hope it helps.Tintor2 (talk) 20:13, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

Just 0, 1, 2 and Judgment due to economical stuff. Feel free to expand it but I would suggest using the GA Characters of the Final Fantasy XIII series as a model. Such article covers the most notable characters in the franchise and does a good balance between inuniverse information and real world information. About Tekken, I find it a bit redundant since the prose already says it while there is another table about the release of each game. The prose should already tell the reader everything about each game first. Shouldn't we remove a table to avoid undue weight or clash with the prose? I have not seen a proper fighting game franchise article, but I kinda tried cleaning up The King of Fighters to give it a good shape similar to other articles about franchises. Maybe it could be used as a model?Tintor2 (talk) 19:40, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

You added a short reference to Edwards 2009, but didn't add the associated long reference. Could you add it please? Also, you should install User:Svick/HarvErrors.js to get noticed of such issues in articles when making use of short footnotes. If you don't know how to install that, let me know, I'll walk you through it. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 19:09, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

Points to note:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:25, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

I made an edit to the preferred version of two other editors on the article, and was accused of editing to my preferred version. But my version was the current version, and I was trying to make a good gesture by editing back to how the two other editors preferred it. Therefore I was wrongfully accused of editing it to my preferred version, when that was the version which was already current. Osh33m (talk) 15:48, 20 February 2021 (UTC) Decline reason: Your "good gesture" was continuing the cycle of reversion. Next edit warring block will be much longer. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 16:00, 20 February 2021 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. UnblockedPlease resist the urge to revert multiple times (two is best practice unless it's plain vandalism, in which case you should report it and let an administrator deal with it) remember that editors are working toward a common goal, and don't immediately go back to a disputed area as soon as you're able. HĐ (talk) 02:30, 9 April 2021 (UTC) Yakuza 0I tried expanding the reception from Yakuza 0 but I don't know if the prose is okay. The plot of the section also needs trimming but I don't know which parts are more vital since it's been long since I played it. The plot section should use around 600 words so it still needs trimming (currently 966). Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 21:46, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Better source request for File:Yakuza original logo.pngThanks for your upload to Wikipedia: You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 21:49, 11 November 2024 (UTC) ArbCom 2024 Elections voter messageHello!
