Regarding the History of the MBTA Green Line articleThere is a discussion on the Talk:Green Line (MBTA) article. I apologize if you did not see it before. As I said there, I was thinking that the content should be restored, but then the article should be moved so that it is about the line's route. Epic Genius (talk) 21:35, 11 May 2015 (UTC) Template widthsPlease stop making edits like this one where you increase the width of route diagram templates. RDTs should go in infoboxes whenever possible for a more consistent visual look and various other nitpicky reasons, and that means that unless there is a truly compelling reason otherwise they should be no more than 300 pixels wide. Additionally, those viewing on small screens (netbooks, smartphones, etc) will have trouble with wide templates. Thank you, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:20, 13 May 2015 (UTC) The Signpost: 13 May 2015

Use of colourThe section of Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility #Color that you changed applies to blind visitors. It is aimed at editors who use coloured text or coloured backgrounds to indicate, e.g. the winner in a table. A blind visitor can use a screen reader to hear the article, but if information on who won is only available to those can see a gold background colour, then the blind visitor is denied the information. Hope that clarifies the guidance for you. --RexxS (talk) 00:32, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Lexington BranchGreetings, and thanks for your improvements to the Lexington and West Cambridge Railroad article. Can I interest you in adding a third map? From 1870 to 1927 the branch used a route separate from the Fitchburg Line. Details: Outbound, leaves the Lowell Line at Somerville Junction, with a station stop there; station stops at Somerville Highlands, West Somerville (Davis Square), and North Cambridge (BERy connection on Mass. Ave.); crosses Alewife Brook north of Rte. 2 (does not cross Rte. 2); same as main map from Lake Street on out, though the mileages would differ. I am planning to add a table or section summarizing the various name and ownership changes of the line; I can handle that, but I lack your mapmaking skills. The third map should probably be positioned prior to the "final configuration" one. I will watch here for any questions you may have. Thank you. Hertz1888 (talk) 01:29, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

Please be more judicious with informationI greatly appreciate the work you are doing with MBTA articles, but as I (and others, including [[[User:Useddenim|Useddenim]]) have noted before, you need to be more careful and more judicious with what information you actually put into articles and especially templates. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia - that means it is a tertiary source. That means that reference templates like the MBTA line articles do not need to show every detail of every routing that has ever existed; they need to shown the current service information above all. (They should not show geography except for state lines and extremely important features such as the Merrimack River bridge or Canton Viaduct.) Additionally, you need to stop making templates so wide - if they cannot fit in the infobox, the template needs to be trimmed, not relocated. While the vast majority of your editing is good, you've also been doing some problematic things that take a lot of my time to fix. I'd like you to be aware of some of them, and explain in a less terse manner why I'm changing or reverting them:
As an overarching note - readability to the user is more important than tangental details, always. The purpose of RDTs is to provide a simple graphical explanation that can be understood in ten seconds, not to show everything. Also, please follow the convention of using edit summaries! When you make formatting-breaking edits with no explanation, it makes it hard to work with you. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 00:13, 23 June 2015 (UTC) The Bugle: Issue CXI, June 2015

A quick suggestionWould it be possible to start leaving edit summaries for your edits? In this section, it is said that you should always leave an edit summary, so that editors can figure out what exactly you are doing to an article. I noticed that you have yet to ever use one (although I could be wrong), but the use of summaries will be of great help to editors working with you, especially since you have been here long enough to have that happening. It's just a suggestion, but I would strongly advise you to start doing so, so that it would be easier for editors to collaborate with you in the future. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 21:08, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
'However'Your edit at Jehovah's Witnesses and blood transfusions has been reverted as it constitutes an unsourced assertion that does not represent a neutral point of view. Simply stating the supplementary information about the fractions is appropriate, but using however makes a comparison with the previous statement. Doing so presents the second statement as one that appears to contradict the first, and such an assertion can only be made if that assertion is supported by a reliable source. If you want to include however in order to pose the statement as a contradiction, you must supply a reliable source that specifically makes that comparison.--Jeffro77 (talk) 08:27, 29 June 2015 (UTC) Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBotNote: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. Following Wikipedia stylesYou need to follow Wikipedia's styles with your edits. This is not your personal railfan site. Only final service patterns should be shown; it is not necessary to show every single service pattern that ever existed. (There were at least a dozen different routings used on the Elevated at various times, some of which lasted just months.) The Washington Street El articles should only show the Orange Line as it existed on April 30, 1987; the Main Line El / Orange Line is the only service that ever ran to those stations. Showing 1975 service to stations that closed in 1987 is not valuable information - that is the history of the Orange Line, not those stations. Similarly, North Station should only show the final configurations of named trains or branch lines as they were discontinued; it should not show cutbacks of existing Fitchburg and Lowell line services. That is information that belongs on those lines, not on the station. Adding superfluous information is considered cruft; it is not encyclopediac and does not belong here, and it interferes with the goal of a clear, readable encyclopedia. If you continue to repeatedly add useless information despite warnings, I will seek a formal ruling to establish what you may and may not add to articles. Additionally, please read and understand how hatnotes work. It is not necessary to refer to a station by a name that it never existed under, not matter what pretenses of possible confusion. We noticed though that when you edited Adams Square (BERy station), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Government Center. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
