北大西洋条約機構によるアイスランドの領空警備（きたたいせいようじょうやくきこうによるアイスランドのりょうくうけいび、英語: Icelandic Air Policing）は、2008年5月より北大西洋条約機構（NATO）がアイスランドに行っている防衛協力の一つ。

概要

背景

アイスランドは軍隊を持たいないため、2006年9月にアメリカ合衆国のアイスランド防衛隊が撤退するまでは同部隊がアイスランドの防空を担っていた[1][2]。アイスランド防衛隊の撤退後、ロシア空軍第37航空軍所属の機体が数回アイスランドに対して領空侵犯を行った[3]。

当時のゲイル・ホルデ首相は、2006年リガ・サミット（英語版）で、NATO同盟国にアイスランドの防空を引き受けるよう要請、北大西洋理事会は2007年7月にこの要請に同意した[2]。
