피터 로버트 러몬트 브라운(Peter Robert Lamont Brown, 1935년 7월 26일 - )은 아일랜드더블린에서 출생한 미국 프린스턴 대학교의 역사학과의 명예교수이다. 스코틀랜드-아일랜드 개신교가문(a Scots-Irish Protestant family)에서 태어났다.
그는 고대 후기(Late Antiquity) 분야를 개척한 세계적인 권위자이다.[1] 그의 작품은 특별히 후기 로마 제국과 초기 중세유럽의 종교 문화와 종교와 사회의 관계에 있다.[2] 그가 쓴 《Augustine of Hippo: A Biography》(1967; 2000)는 아우구스티누스에 대한 세계적으로 알려진 명작이다. 2011년에 발찬상의 수상자였다.
