വിനോന റൈഡർ 1971 ഒൿടോബർ 29 ന് )^[1] ജനിച്ച ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നടിയാണ്. അവരുടെ യഥാർത്ഥപേര് വിനോന ലൂറ ഹൊറോവിറ്റ്‍സ്. 1990 കളിൽ ഏറ്റവും പ്രശസ്തയായ നടിയായിരുന്നു അവർ.^[2][3][4] 1986 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ Lucas എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് അവർ അഭിനയരംഗത്തേയ്ക്കു പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നത്. ടിം ബർട്ടൻറെ 1988 ലെ Beetlejuice എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ കൌമാരക്കാരിയായ നായികയെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതിലൂടെ നിരൂപക പ്രശംസയും ദേശവ്യാപകമായ അംഗീകാരവും നേടി.

മിനസോട്ടയിലെ വിനോന കൗണ്ടിയിൽ^[5] സിന്തിയ പാമർ (മുമ്പ്, ഇസ്റ്റാസ്), മൈക്കൽ ഡി. ഹൊറോവിറ്റ്‌സ് ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകളായി വിനോന ലോറ ഹൊറോവിറ്റ്‌സ് എന്ന പേരിൽ ജനിച്ചു.^[6] വിനോനയുടെ മാതാവ് ഒരു എഴുത്തുകാരിയും വീഡിയോ നിർമ്മാതാവും എഡിറ്ററുമാണ്. പിതാവ് ഒരു എഴുത്തുകാരനും എഡിറ്ററും പ്രസാധകനും പുരാതന പുസ്തക വിൽപ്പനക്കാരനുമാണ്.^[7][8] മനഃശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായ തിമോത്തി ലിയറിയുടെ (റൈഡറിന്റെ ഗോഡ്ഫാദർ) ആർക്കൈവിസ്റ്റായും അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.^[9] അഷ്‌കെനാസി ജൂത വംശജരായ വിനോനയുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ കുടുംബം, ഉക്രെയ്‌ൻ,^[10][11] റൊമാനിയ, റഷ്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവരാണ്.^[12][13][14] വളർന്നപ്പോൾ, വിനോന എല്ലാ വർഷവും ജൂത പെസഹാ അവധിക്കാലത്തിനായി ബ്രൂക്ലിനിലെ തന്റെ പിതൃ മുത്തശ്ശിമാരെ സന്ദർശിച്ചിരുന്നു.^[15]
