ഉർദു ,ഹിന്ദി, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷകളിലെ ഒരു ചലച്ചിത്രസം‌വിധായകനും നോവലിസ്റ്റും, തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തും പത്രപ്രവർത്തകനുമായിരുന്നു കെ.എ. അബ്ബാസ് എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായ ക്വാജ അഹ്മദ് അബ്ബാസ് (ഹിന്ദി: ख़्वाजा अहमद अब्बास) (7 ജൂൺ 1914 – 1 ജൂൺ 1987). ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ദേശീയോത്ഗ്രഥന ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്രപുരസ്കാരവും കാൻ ചലച്ചിത്ര മേളയിൽ പാമെ ഡി ഒർ നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്ത ചിത്രങ്ങളായ സാത്ത് ഹിന്ദുസ്താനി (1969), ദൊ ബൂന്ത് പാനി (1972) എന്നിവയുടേയും ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള ദേശീയപുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ നേടിയ പർദേസി (1963), ഷേർ ഔർ സപ്‌ന (1963) പോലുള്ള സുപ്രധാന ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെയും സം‌വിധായകനാണ്‌ അദ്ദേഹം.
കാൻ ചലച്ചിത്രമേളയിൽ പാം ഡിയൊർ നേടിയ നീചെ നഗർ (1946), ജഗ്തെ രഹൊ, ധാർത്തി കെ ലാൽ, ആവാര, സാത്ത് ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാനി, നയാ സൻസാർ എന്നിവയുടെ തിരക്കഥ എഴുതിയ അബ്ബാസ് തിരക്കഥകൃത്തെന്ന നിലയിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ സമാന്തര (നിയോ റിയലിസ്റ്റിക്) സിനിമയുടെ പ്രഗൽഭരിൽ ഒരാളായിട്ടാണ്‌ പരിഗണിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
അബ്ബാസിന്റെ 'ലാസ്റ്റ് പേജ്' എന്ന പംക്തി ഇന്ത്യൻ പത്രപ്രവർത്തന ചരിത്രത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കാലം നിലനിന്ന പംക്തി എന്നനിലയിൽ വ്യതിരിക്തമാണ്‌. 1935 ൽ ബോംബെ ക്രോണിക്കിളിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച ഈ പംക്തി ,പിന്നീട് ബോംബെ ക്രോണികിൾ പൂട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ബ്ലിട്ട്സിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുകയും 1987 ൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മരണം വരെ തുടരുകയും ചെയ്തു. 1969 ൽ ഇന്ത്യാഗവർമെന്റ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പദ്മശ്രീ നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു
