ഗ്രീൻ- തൈഡ് പാരറ്റ് (Pionites leucogaster leucogaster) Psittacidae കുടുംബത്തിലുള്ളതും White-bellied caique ന്റെ ഉപജാതികളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടതുമാണ്.[2] പയോനേറ്റസ് ല്യൂക്കോഗസ്റ്റർ (വൈറ്റ്-ബെല്ലൈഡ് പാരറ്റ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വൈറ്റ്-ബെല്ലിഡ് കായ്ക്ക് എന്നും ഇത് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു) നോമിനേറ്റ് റേസിലുൾപ്പെട്ട ഈ സ്പീഷീസിൽ മൂന്ന് ഉപജാതികൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അടുത്തകാലത്തെ മോർഫോളജിക്കൽ പഠനങ്ങൾ ഈ വർഗ്ഗങ്ങളെ മൂന്നായി വിഭജിക്കണമെന്ന് നിർദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു.[3]ബ്രസീലിലെ ആമസോൺ നദിയുടെ തെക്കൻ ആമസോണിലെ ഈർപ്പം നിറഞ്ഞ വനപ്രദേശത്തും മരങ്ങളിലുള്ള ആവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ഇത് കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. സംരക്ഷിതമേഖലയിൽ ഇതിനെ സാധാരണയായി കാണാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നു. Cristalino State Park (Alta Floresta), സിംഗ്യു നാഷണൽ പാർക്ക്, ബ്രസീലിലെ ആമസോണിയ നാഷണൽ പാർക്ക് തുടങ്ങിയ സംരക്ഷിത മേഖലകളിൽ ഇത് വളരെ എളുപ്പത്തിൽ കാണാൻ കഴിയും.
