രണ്ടര കോടിയോളം ആളുകൾ മാതൃഭാഷയായി സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു റോമാൻസ് ഭാഷയാണ് റൊമാനിയൻ ഭാഷ (Romanian , limba română [ˈlimba roˈmɨnə] ⓘ românește )[ 4] [ 5] റൊമാനിയ , മൊൾഡോവ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാഷയാണ് റൊമാനിയൻ. നാൽപ്പത് ലക്ഷത്തോളം ആളുകൾ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഭാഷയായും റൊമാനിയൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.[ 6] [ 7]
