കിഴക്കൻ റെയിൽ‌വേ മേഖലയിലെ ഹൗറ റെയിൽ‌വേ ഡിവിഷനിലെ ഷിയോറാഫുലി-താരകേശ്വർ ബ്രാഞ്ച് ലൈനിലെ കൊൽക്കത്ത സബർബൻ റെയിൽ‌വേ സ്റ്റേഷനാണ് ഹരിപാൽ റെയിൽ‌വേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ (കോഡ്-എച് പി എൽ) ഹരിപാൽ തീവണ്ടിനിലയം. ഇത് പുറമെ സ്ഥിതി തരകെസ്വര് ന് റോഡ്, ഗൊപിനഗര് ഹരിപല് ൽ ഹൂഗ്ലി ജില്ലയിലെ ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ സംസ്ഥാന എന്ന പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ . ^{[5] [6]}

ഷിയോറാഫുലി-താരകേശ്വർ ബ്രാഞ്ച് ലൈൻ 1885 ജനുവരി 1 ന് ടാർക്കെസ്സൂർ റെയിൽ‌വേ കമ്പനി തുറന്നു. ഈസ്റ്റ് ഇന്ത്യൻ റെയിൽ‌വേ കമ്പനിയാണ് ഇത് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചത്. 1915 ൽ ഈസ്റ്റ് ഇന്ത്യൻ റെയിൽ‌വേയാണ് തർക്കെസ്സൂർ കമ്പനി ഏറ്റെടുത്തത്. ^[7] 1957—58 ൽ 3,000 വി ഡിസി സിസ്റ്റം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ട്രാക്ക് ആദ്യമായി വൈദ്യുതീകരിച്ചു. 1967 ൽ ഹരിപാൽ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഈ പാത 25 കെവി എസി സംവിധാനത്തിലൂടെ വൈദ്യുതീകരിച്ചു. ^[8]
