(ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists/ GLP-1-RA ) ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ଯାହା ମଧୁମେହ ଟାଇପ ୨ ଏବଂ ମେଦ ବ‌ହୁଳତାର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ୨୦୨୨ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆଥେରୋସ୍କ୍ଲେରୋସିସ ଥିବା ଟାଇପ୍-୨ ମଧୁମେହ ରୋଗୀଙ୍କର କରୋନାରୀଧମନୀ ରୋଗର ସଙ୍କଟ ଥିବାରୁ ଆମେରିକା ଡାଏବେଟିକ ଆସୋସିଏସନ (ADA) ଏହାକୁ ପ୍ରଥମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଔଷଧ ଭାବରେ ତାଲିକାଭୁକ୍ତ କରିଛି ।^[୪] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ବା ଚର୍ମ ତଳେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୧]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଅଇ, ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା ଏବଂ ପେଟ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୫] ଏଥରେ ନିମ୍ନ ରକ୍ତ ଶର୍କରା ହେବାର ଆଶଙ୍କା କମ୍ ଥାଏ; ଯଦିଓ ଏହ ଫଳରେଅଗ୍ନାଶୟ ପ୍ରଦାହ କିମ୍ବା ଗ୍ୟାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୋପାରେସିସ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^{[୩] [୧] [୬]} ପଶୁ ମଡେଲଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ଥାଇରଏଡ୍ ସି-ସେଲ୍ ଟ୍ୟୁମର୍ ବିଷୟରେ ଚିନ୍ତା ବଢ଼ୁଛି ।^[୪] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଏହାର ବ୍ୟବହାର ସୁପାରିଶ କରାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ ।^[୩] ସେମାନେ ଜିଏଲପି-୧ (GLP-1) ରିସେପ୍ଟରର ସକ୍ରିୟକାରୀ ।^[୧] ସେମାନେ ଇନସୁଲିନ୍ ରିଲିଜ ଅଧିକ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚ ରକ୍ତ ଶର୍କରା ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଗ୍ଲୁକାଗନ୍ ହ୍ରାସ କରନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ପାକସ୍ଥଳୀ ମନ୍ଥର ଗତିରେ ଖାଲି କରନ୍ତି ।^[୧]

୨୦୦୫ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଏକ୍ସେନାଟାଇଡ ନାମରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଜିଏଲପି-୧-ଆରଏ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୧] ୨୦୨୨ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହା ଅପେକ୍ଷାକୃତ ମହଙ୍ଗା ଯାହା ମାସକୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୦୦୦ ଥିଲା ।^[୪] ଲମ୍ବା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ଇନସୁଲିନ୍ ସହିତ ପୂର୍ବ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ସଂସ୍କରଣ ଅଛି ।^[୪] ଏହାର ଚାହିଦା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ହେତୁ ୨୦୨୩ ମସିହାରେ ଅଭାବ ଦେଖାଦେଇଥିଲା ।^[୭][୮]
