Hello MKar! I am administrator on Wikmedia Commons. I just deleted a lot of selfies which have been linked to a userpage here: ବ୍ୟବହାରକାରୀ:Gopi einstein. You probably want to delete the rest of the page. I wouldn't have deleted one or two photos if the user would have worked on something else. Calling himself the best scientist and a physician doesn't really count :-))) Just wanted to let you know. Let me know if I can be of any help on my talk on Commons. You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.
When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.
Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.
We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

You may already know that the third iteration of WikiConference India is happening in March 2023. We have recently opened scholarship applications and session submissions for the program. As it is a huge conference, we will definitely need help with organizing. As you have been significantly involved in contributing to Wikimedia projects related to Indic languages, we wanted to reach out to you and see if you are interested in helping us. We have different teams that might interest you, such as communications, scholarships, programs, event management etc.

WikiConference India 2023:WCI2023 Open Community call on 18 December 2022
As you may know, we are hosting regular calls with the communities for WikiConference India 2023. This message is for the second Open Community Call which is scheduled on the 18th of December, 2022 (Today) from 7:00 to 8:00 pm to answer any questions, concerns, or clarifications, take inputs from the communities, and give a few updates related to the conference from our end. Please add the following to your respective calendars and we look forward to seeing you on the call.
The 2023 Wikipedia Asian Month (WAM) Campaign has ended. On behalf of the WAM International Team, we express our gratitude for your effort and participation.
We are writing to remind you to begin the jury process. Some WAM Campaigns ended earlier, and have already finished auditing and reviewing contributions.
Please suggest all campaigns to complete the following before January 31th, 2024:
1. Finalize their list
2. Report the username of your Wikipedia Asian Ambassador, the participant who has the most edit in your campaign
3. Update a list of all eligible editors on the 2023 WAM Ambassadors page, list of eligible editors column

Each organizer/jury who gets support will receive $30 USD in gift voucher format, even if they're involved in more than one wiki. No dual support will be provided if you have signed up in more than one language. This support is meant to appreciate your volunteer support for the contest.
We also invite all organizers and jury members to join us for office hours on Saturday, March 2, 2024. This session will help you understand the jury process for both contests and give you a chance to ask questions. More details are on meta page.
