இசுலாமிய புரட்சிகர பாதுகாப்புப் படைகள் (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC; Persian: سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی இதனை ஈரானிய புரட்சிக்கரப் படைகள் என்றும் அழைப்பர். ^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]இது இரானிய ஆயுதப்படைகளின் கீழ் செயல்படும் கிளை அமைப்பாகும். ஈரானியப் புரட்சிக்குப் பின்னர் ஈரானின் அதியுயர் தலைவரான ரூகொல்லா கொமெய்னி இப்படைப்பிரிவை மே 1979ல் நிறுவினார்.^[1]^[11]

நோக்கம்

ஈரான் இராணுவம் நாட்டின் இறையாண்மையை காக்கும் வழக்கமான பணியில் செயல்படுகிறது. ஆனால் இசுலாமிய புரட்சிகர பாதுகாப்புப் படைகள், ஈரானின் அரசியலமைப்பு சட்டங்கள், பண்பாடு மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைப்பையும் பாதுகாப்பதே முதன்மை நோக்கமாகும்.^[15]

செயல்பாடுகள்

2024ஆம் ஆண்டில் இப்படையில் ஏறத்தாழ 1,25,000 பேர் உள்ளனர். இசுலாமிய புரட்சிகர கடற்படைப் பிரிவு, பாரசீக வளைகுடாவின் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக செயல்படுகிறது.^[16] இதன் பிரிவுகளில் ஒன்றான பாஸ்ஜி எனும் புனிதப் படையில் 90,000 தன்னாலர்வர்கள் உள்ளனர்.^[17]^[18] ஈரானுக்குள் இப்படை செப்பா செய்திகள் எனும் ஊடகத்தை நடத்துகிறது.^[19]16 மார்ச் 2022 அன்று அணு நிலையங்களை பாதுக்காக்கும் புதுப் படைப்ப்பிரிவை புரட்சிகர பாதுகாப்பு படைகள் நிறுவியது.^[20]
