佛罗里达州降雪纪录

2014年1月28至29日，佛罗里达州经历了一场冬季风暴，西北狭长地带大部分地区都因冻雨和雨夹雪而出现积冰，随后还下了一场小雪。上图为彭萨科拉湾跨海大桥前的一个佛罗里达州交通部摄像机拍摄下的雪景。

美国佛罗里达州地处北美洲东南沿海的佛罗里达半岛，大部分地区属亚热带，最南部则属热带，南部沿海大多属于热带气候地区，下雪是非常罕见的事情[1]。一般来说只有在反气旋带来寒冷且干燥的风时气温才有可能达到冰点。与雪相比，霜要常见得多，要求气温在摄氏7度以下，海拔2米以下，天空无云且相对湿度在65%或以上[2]。如果要让这一地区下雪，不但北极的高速气流必须向南通过德克萨斯州进入墨西哥湾，而且还要正好遇到停滞的冷锋结合冷空气形成锋面云[3]。整个州内大部分地区一年到头都没有任何降雪，美国本土只有德克萨斯州南部和加利福尼亚州部分地区有类似情况[4]。

1900年以前佛罗里达州的大部分下雪信息是来自美国国家气象局提供的杰克逊维尔地区信息，因为这个原因，其他地区的信息会相对较少[2]。佛罗里达州有记录的最早一场雪是发生在1774年的暴风雪，一些对下雪很不习惯的居民称其为“不寻常的白雨”[2]。杰克逊维尔历史上的第一个“白色圣诞节”是由1989年12月23日所下的一场雪带来的[3]。

1894年12月29日 布鲁克斯报告上午9点到11点出现降雪，奥克希尔附近的蚊子泻湖（Mosquito Lagoon）出现少量雪花。媒体报道称佛罗里达州中部和西部多个城镇有降雪。早上温度创下数十年来的新低，导致200至300万盒尚未收获的橙毁于一旦，菠萝树也严重受损，其它的几乎所有水果和蔬菜都遭摧毁。 [19]
1895年2月14日 下午18:22至18:27，杰克逊维尔下了小雨夹雪，然后转为下雪至18:32停止。到了19:20又开始下小雪直到20:00。坦帕和彭萨科拉都下了雪，其深度足以让雪撬通过。 [2]

1977年1月18日 密西西比山谷上空的一个强劲高压脊与加拿大大西洋省份上空的东北风形成了一个压强梯度力，将一股非常强劲的寒流向南送入佛罗里达州境内。彭萨科拉周边地区首先下起了雪，然后是整个佛罗里达半岛。奥兰多收到了2.5毫米降雪，坦帕则为6毫米，其他4号州际公路周边则收到了25至51毫米降雪，另外还有一些区域报告收到了76至150毫米降雪。1月19日清晨日出以前，西棕榈滩历史上首度报告出现降雪，再往南方远至霍姆斯特德也下起了飘雪。这场雪本身因为较为干燥而没有对地方造成多大影响，但是其伴随的冷空气却导致了数亿美元的损失。奥兰多连续6个晚上气温低于冰点，追平了1899年的纪录。1月20日《迈阿密先驱报》以头版报道这次降雪，使用的标题字体通常只用于报道宣战。詳見:1977年1月北美寒潮 [27]

2014年1月28至29日（英语：January 2014 Gulf Coast winter storm） 从28日下午到29日早上，佛罗里达州西北狭长地带大部分地区出现了一场大规模冬季风暴，出现的降雪种类有冻雨（造成积冰）、雨夹雪和降雪。由于积冰会对交通安全构成威胁，佛罗里达高速公路巡警和佛罗里达州交通部建议人们如非必要，应尽量避免出行。多个州及地方政府办事处从28日中午左右就停止办公。圣罗萨县官员发出警告，受到积冰压力的树枝已经低到可以打中车辆。从28日下午13点到21点30分，有2万1633户电力用户曾一度失去电力供应。彭萨科拉在1月28日出现的降雪量有46毫米。佛罗里达州高速公路巡警于1月29日封闭了10號州際公路从佛罗里达和阿拉巴马州州际路段到加兹登县的近320公里路段，将资源和交通流量转引到90号美国国道。彭萨科拉国际机场于1月28日晚21点17分开始关闭，计划在29日晚再重新开放。 [48]

2017年12月8日至9日（英语：December 2017 North American winter storm） 佛罗里达州西部西北狭长地带的多个地方都下雪了。艾斯康比亚县积雪高达2英寸（51毫米），森楚里积雪0.5英寸（13毫米）。 在德斯坦和米拉马尔海滩也有飘雪报告[61]
2018年1月2日至3日（英语：January 2018 North American blizzard） 一场冬季风暴使整个佛罗里达州北部从塔拉赫西到積遜威爾郊区和蓋恩斯維爾南部降下雪，造成了寒冷的冻雨，冰雪和冰，早晨温度20多度，露点温度十几度。[62] 1月3日上午，拿騷、貝克、聯合、哥倫比亞、吉爾克里斯特、薩旺尼、漢密爾頓、拉法葉、麦迪逊、泰勒、傑佛遜和萊昂等拿县[63][64]发出了冬季风暴警告，一些学校在1月3日停课。[65]塔拉赫西降下了0.10-0.20英寸的雪，这是自1989年12月以来该城市首次出现可测量的降雪（每隔几年就会出现一次降雪）。[66][67][68]塔拉赫西在几个小时的冻雨后降雪。[66]佛罗里达州高速公路巡警在1月3日早上的大部分时间从塔拉赫西至麦迪逊关闭了10号州际公路，因为在佛罗里达州中北部的几座桥梁上结的冰可能造成事故。[69][65]希利亚德和哥倫比亞縣的縣治湖市的积冰厚0.25英寸，佩里的积冰厚0.10英寸。[70]
2018年1月17日 佛罗里达狭长地带部分地区观测到冻雨、雨夹雪及局部降雪的混合冬季降水。克雷斯特韦和德芬阿克泉出现降雪，而华尔顿堡滩遭遇冻雨。彭薩科拉海灘出现雨夹雪，草地与车辆表面形成积冰。通往彭萨科拉海滩的鲍勃·赛克斯大桥因结冰封闭。[71]
2020年1月22日 南佛罗里达区域（包括棕榈滩海岸线、布劳沃德县及宝藏海岸（英语：Treasure Coast））午后至傍晚出现霰的报道。大西洋相对温暖水域上空的冷空气引发大气不稳定和上升气流，将水滴推向大气冷冻层。这些水滴在高空凝结成雪花，表面附着过冷水滴后增重下落，最终以霰的形式抵达地面。[72][73][74]
2021年2月16日 艾斯康比亞縣通过mPing系统报告零星小雪，无积雪记录。[75]
2022年1月3日（英语：January 3–4, 2022 nor'easter） 佛羅里達狭长地带沃尔顿县凌晨报告微量降雪。[76]
2022年1月16日（英语：January 14–17, 2022 North American winter storm） 佛罗里达麥克大衛中部标准时6:40出现小雪，埃斯坎比亚北部与聖羅薩縣上午持续报告零星飘雪。[77][78]埃斯坎比亚县最北端草地出现微量积雪。[79]
2022年1月21日 佛罗里达狭长地带西北部清晨发生轻微冻雨及冻毛毛雨。阿拉巴马州莫比尔国家气象局前日已发布冬季天气预警，实际影响轻微。[80]
2022年12月25日 历史性冬季风暴携北极寒潮席卷美国，导致佛罗里达布雷瓦德县北部罗克雷奇、维埃拉及梅里特岛地区圣诞节上午出现冰珠。[81][82]
2024年1月16日（英语：January 13–16, 2024 North American winter storm） 北极冷锋在佛罗里达狭长地带最西端（含彭萨科拉以西地区）引发小雪、冰珠及冻毛毛雨的混合降水，影响轻微。[83]
2025年1月21-22日（英语：2025 Gulf Coast blizzard） 强暴风雪袭击墨西哥湾沿岸，佛罗里达狭长地带多处降雪。[84]彭萨科拉附近海岸出现近暴风雪天气。[85]部分地区降雪量达4至8英寸（10至20厘米），打破该州历史记录。[86]国家气象局前雇员在米尔顿测得10英寸（25厘米）积雪[87]，彭萨科拉国际机场记录8.9英寸（23厘米）降雪，刷新1954年创下的州历史最高纪录。[88]
