南非簽證政策是南非政府決定誰人可進入南非的政策。前往南非的遊客必須從南非的其中一個駐外機構獲得簽證，並需要出示該國簽證才能入境，除非他們是來自免簽證國家，在這種情況下，他們會獲得所謂的“入境口岸簽證”。簽證需要親自申請，且提供生物特徵識別[1]。
根據規定，来访者的护照有效期不得少于1个月，且剩餘空白頁不得少於1頁（如果需要簽證則為2頁）[2]。
2016年12月，南非宣布將根據互惠原則審查其簽證政策[3]。
2018年3月，南非宣布將在2019年3月31日之前試行電子簽證系統第一階段[4]。
2018年9月，南非宣布阿爾及利亞、埃及、摩洛哥、加納、阿拉伯聯合酋長國、卡塔爾、伊朗、黎巴嫩、巴勒斯坦國、白俄羅斯、格魯吉亞以及古巴的公民將能夠免簽證訪問南非[5]。電子簽證試點計劃將在2019年4月於紐西蘭開始[6]。此外，在完成簽證豁免協議後，聖多美和普林西比、阿拉伯撒哈拉民主共和國、突尼斯、巴林、阿曼、科威特以及沙特阿拉伯的國民也將能夠在短期逗留期間免簽證旅行到南非[5]。

根據《南非移民法》，簽證到期后仍留在南非且未申請有效身份的外國人屬於非法外國人
根據《移民法》第 30（1）（f） 條，逾期居留者在離境時將被宣佈為不受歡迎的人。
- 逾期居留少於 30 天的外國人將被宣佈為不受歡迎人員並被禁止入境 1 年。
- 逾期居留超過 30 天的外國人將被宣佈為不受歡迎人員並被禁止入境 5 年。
- 外國人在24個月內逾期居留兩次（屢犯）將被宣佈為不受歡迎人員並被禁止入境2年。
禁令不會隨著時間的推移而過期，需要取消對外國人的限制和/或取消不受歡迎的情況。不受歡迎的人沒有資格獲得入境口岸簽證、簽證、共和國入境或永久居留許可。
未成年人
从2015年6月1日起，所有18岁以下进出南非的未成年人必须持有护照、父母双方详细资料以及未经删节的出生证明书[36]。该要求适用于国内和国外公民。如果孩子只与父母一方旅行，则需要另一方提供的同意书。如果孩子与另一位成年人一起旅行且没有父母双方，则必须出示父母双方的同意书。无人陪伴的未成年人除了持有同意书和出生证明外，还必须提供当地南非接待方的必要信息[37][38]。该规则受到旅游业的广泛批评，但官员声称该规则的实施是为了打击南非普遍的人口贩卖和单方面儿童监护权滥用的情况[39][40]。截至2016年10月，由于完整的出生证明要求，已有13,000多名游客无法进入该国，从而对经济产生了负面影响[41]。
2018年9月，内阁宣布他们打算取消这项有争议的儿童旅行要求[42]。
