生平

艾尔出生于美国加利福尼亚州的圣地亚哥，^[2] 后来经过两次大搬迁，住在俄亥俄州和华盛顿州，而他的家人搬到了俄勒冈州。^[2] 艾尔在搬到加利福尼亚州南部后，住在蒙大拿州。2000年，艾尔毕业于洛磯山學院（英语：Rocky Mountain College）。^[3] 艾尔出名后，对母校贡献良多，为学院筹措了教育科研资金。^[4]
