社会民主党（塞爾維亞語西里爾字母：Социјалдемократска странка, СДС，塞爾維亞語拉丁字母：Socijaldemokratska stranka, SDS）是塞尔维亚的一个中間偏左政党。社会民主党由曾任民主党主席与塞爾維亞總統的鲍里斯·塔迪奇成立並领导。社会民主党於2014年6月至10月期间曾名为新民主党（塞爾維亞語：Нова демократска странка, НДС，羅馬化：Nova demokratska stranka, NDS）[1]。社会民主党於2019年5月与民主党、一起為了塞爾維亞结成政治联盟。社会民主党是进步联盟的成员[2]，支持塞尔维亚加入欧洲联盟[3]。
歷史
鲍里斯·塔迪奇自社會民主黨成立起一直領導社會民主黨，此前塔迪奇曾任民主党主席與塞爾維亞總統
塔迪奇於2014年2月表示計劃脱离民主党，並另组新党參與2014年的國會選舉[4]，然而塔迪奇意识到自己在选举前並没有足够的时间註冊新政党，塔迪奇与其支持者遂与塞尔维亚绿党达成协议，塔迪奇与其支持者為此加入塞尔维亚绿党，並於當月10日将塞尔维亚绿党更名为“新民主党—绿党”[5]。虽然伊万·卡里奇仍是新民主党—绿党的正式主席，但新民主党—绿党事实上由塔迪奇领导[5][6]。新民主党—绿党随后与一起為了塞爾維亞、伏伊伏丁那社会民主联盟与其他小党組成選舉聯盟參與當年的國會選舉[7]。该选举联盟在國會選舉中赢得5.7%的选票，並在国民议会中获得18个席次[8]，其中新民主党—绿党获得11个席次，但僅有伊万·卡里奇一人原屬塞尔维亚绿党，其餘10个席次均由以塔迪奇为首之众获得[9]。
2014年的国会选举后，新民主党—绿党内部出现分歧，原塞尔维亚绿党的党员与随塔迪奇入党的党员意见不一[10]。塔迪奇与其支持者於6月14日决定脱离新民主党—绿党，並另组“新民主党”，新民主党—绿党則復名“塞尔维亚绿党”[11]。新民主党的10名议员在国民议会中与塞尔维亚绿党的卡里奇、一起為了塞爾維亞的布拉戈耶·布拉迪奇（Blagoje Bradić）一同组成共有12名议员的議會黨團[12] ，共同反对塞尔维亚政府[13]。塔迪奇於2014年10月4日举行的首次党内选举中当选党主席，新民主党亦在當日正式更名为“社会民主党”[1][14]。
截至2017年1月，社会民主党在国民议会共有4个席次，並与有1个席次的塞尔维亚人民运动结成议会联盟。社会民主党於2022年1月10日宣佈自民主党脫離的政治派系塞爾維亞民主主義者（Demokrate Srbije）将併入社会民主党[15]。社会民主党在歐洲理事會議員大會中屬社会主义者、民主人士和绿党党团[16]。社会民主党於2023年的國會選舉中作为早安塞爾維亞联盟的成员党参选[17]。
