^En 1960, 西丽玛沃·班达拉奈克 (1916-2000) fue la primera mujer en el mundo que asumió el cargo de primera ministra de un país. En 1974, 伊莎貝爾·裴隆 (1931-) fue elegida vicepresidenta de la República Argentina, y ese mismo año, tras la muerte del presidente 胡安·裴隆 (1895-1974), asumió como presidenta democráticamente elegida.
