Brickworks Group Representation Constituency
Brickworks Group Representation Constituency (GRC) was a Group Representation Constituency in Bukit Merah, Queenstown and Clementi, Singapore from 1988 to 1997. HistoryIn 1988, as part of Singapore's political reforms, the Brickworks GRC was formed by merging Alexandra, Brickworks and Queenstown Constituencies. In 1991, the Alexandra ward was carved out of the GRC and absorbed the Clementi and West Coast wards from Pasir Panjang Group Representation Constituency. In 1997, the GRC was dissolved with the wards merged into Tanjong Pagar and West Coast GRCs. Park of Brickworks ward and the whole Queenstown ward were merged into Tanjong Pagar GRC and the reminder of Brickworks ward alongside the Clementi and West Coast wards merged into West Coast GRC.
