複数の記事をまとめて依頼する際の注意こんにちは。この度YTRKさんが行われた「Wikipedia:削除依頼/TheRobloxMasterさんによって作成された翻訳記事群」と「Wikipedia:削除依頼/Julio Jose Moruno Ruizさんによって作成された記事群」ですが、「Wikipedia:削除依頼#特殊なケースでの依頼手順」にも書かれております通り、複数のページをまとめて削除依頼されるのであれば、「ある新聞記事が複数のページに無断転載されたことによって、転載先となったすべてのページで著作権侵害が疑われる場合」のように関連性の高いもののみ行われますよう、お願いします。それぞれ題材が異なるのであれば、改善の可能性もそれぞれ変わり、十把一絡げに判断することはできません。関連の薄いページをまとめて依頼されますと、利用者の立場では意見を述べることが難しくなりますし、管理者の立場ではどの記事について削除の合意が得られているかわかりづらくなり、対処が遅れる原因になりかねません。今後削除を依頼される際にはご留意願います。--Bellcricket（会話） 2020年11月6日 (金) 12:06 (UTC)

ご意見を頂きありがとうございます。 YTRKさんのご意見は具体的な問題点を指摘せずに、「問題点があります。問題点が分からないのは、あなたの責任です。」というような論法になっているようです。具体的な問題点を書かないと具体的に反論される危険がなくなるので、「安全」ではあるのですが、「協力して記事を作り上げていく」というWikipedia編集の基本的な姿勢からは少しずれてしまうように思います。 また、「原文からどこが変わってしまっているのかわかっていないのであれば翻訳から手を引いてください。」というご意見ですが、逐語訳だと「変わってしまう」危険性は少なくなるのですが、その分読みにくくなるので、自分なりに文意を把握して「変える」ことも必要なように思います。「変える」ことにより「変わってしまう」危険性は増大するわけで、どの辺を落としどころにするかという問題は翻訳には常に付きまとう問題のように思います。ま、私のような素人があれこれいえるようなことではありませんが、専門家によるシェークスピア戯曲の翻訳についての話を読んでいるとそのようなことを思います。 話が少し変わります。YTRKさんは「最初期のみ機械翻訳をベースに翻訳作業をして」いたと書いておられます。翻訳元は英語版だけだったのでしょうか。このようなことを質問するのは、YTRKさんぐらい翻訳経験のある方ならば、英語版以外の記事から機械翻訳を使って翻訳しても私などより上質な翻訳記事を作成できると思うからです。英語版だけでも「翻訳するべき記事」はいくらでもあるので、英語版の自分の興味がある記事を翻訳するだけでも「翻訳すべき記事」は山のようにあり、それ以外の言語版から翻訳する「必要」はないのですが、例えばWikipedia:削除依頼/タルノヴォ美術学校で利用者:Lmkjgmoさんが指摘されたように、英語版よりも他の言語版の方が翻訳元として適切な場合もありますし、そもそも英語版の記事自体存在しない場合もあります。このような場合に、私程度の語学力では「引っ張られて自力で翻訳するよりもひどいものを出してしまうのがオチ」になってしまう場合でも、YTRKさんのような方が翻訳されると「ちょっとやそっとの修正」ですみ「生産的」だと思うのですが、いかがお考えでしょうか。--Süd-Russisches（会話） 2021年7月23日 (金) 14:51 (UTC)
