ប្រទេសសូម៉ាលី (ភាសាសូម៉ាលី៖ Soomaaliya, អក្សរអូស្មាញ្ញា៖ 𐒈𐒝𐒑𐒛𐒐𐒘𐒕𐒖; ភាសាអារ៉ាប់៖ الصومال) ដោយមានឈ្មោះជាផ្លូវការថា សាធារណរដ្ឋសហព័ន្ធសូម៉ាលី[៧] (សូម៉ាលី៖ Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya; អារ៉ាប់៖ جمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية) គឺជាប្រទេសមួយស្ថិតនៅក្នុងតំបន់ស្នែងអាហ្វ្រិក។ ប្រទេសនេះមានព្រំដែនខាងលិចជាប់នឹងប្រទេសអេត្យូពី ខាងពាយព្យជាប់នឹងប្រទេសជីប៊ូទី ខាងជើងជាប់នឹងឈូងសមុទ្រអាដិន ខាងកើតជាប់នឹងមហាសមុទ្រឥណ្ឌា និងខាងនិរតីជាប់នឹងប្រទេសកេនយ៉ា។ សូម៉ាលីជាប្រទេសដែលមានឆ្នេរសមុទ្រវែងជាងគេបំផុតនៅឯអាហ្វ្រិកដីគោក។[៨] ប្រទេសសូម៉ាលីច្រើនគ្របដណ្តប់លើតំបន់ខ្ពង់រាប វាលទំនាប និងតំបន់ភ្នំខ្ពស់ៗ។[១] អាកាសធាតុក្តៅតែងកើតមានពេញមួយឆ្នាំ បូករួមជាមួយខ្យល់មូសុងតាមរដូវ និងភ្លៀងធ្លាក់មិនទៀងទាត់។[៩] សូម៉ាលីមានចំនួនប្រជាជនប្រមាណ ១៥ លាននាក់[៣][៤] ដែលក្នុងនោះមានជាង ២ លាននាក់រស់នៅក្នុងរដ្ឋធានី និងជាទីក្រុងធំបំផុតគឺ មូកាឌីស៊ូ ហើយត្រូវបានគេចាត់ទុកថាជាប្រទេសដែលមានវប្បធម៌ឯកពន្ធុបំផុតនៅទ្វីបអាហ្វ្រិក។[១០][១១] ប្រហែល ៨៥% នៃប្រជាជនសរុបទាំងអស់ជាជនជាតិសូម៉ាលី[១] ដែលច្រើននិយមរស់នៅតាមភាគខាងជើងនៃប្រទេស។ ជនជាតិភាគតិចតែងប្រមូលផ្តុំគ្នារស់នៅលើដែនដីភាគខាងត្បូង។[១២] ភាសាផ្លូវការរបស់ប្រទេសនេះគឺ ភាសាសូម៉ាលី និងភាសាអារ៉ាប់។[១] ប្រជាជនប្រទេសសូម៉ាលីភាគច្រើនជាអ្នកកាន់សាសនាឥស្លាម[១៣] ដោយក្នុងនោះមានមួយភាគធំបានប្រតិបត្តិតាមនិកាយស៊ុននី។[១៤]
