about this ਸਰਕਾਰੀ/ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ the 1 which you are say is correct but the 1 i am saying is also correct, because the 1 which you are saying official is related to government official here we should be using only ਸਰਕਾਰੀ/ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ i agree with it, but the official i am refering to is like official mobile partner/official merchandise/official sponsor here how can we user this term ਸਰਕਾਰੀ/ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ...the meaning itself is different....that is why i was searching for more neutral word like ਅਧਿਕਾਰਕ......i request you to please replace ਸਰਕਾਰੀ/ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ with some thing more normal....because if we use this Official is ਸਰਕਾਰੀ/ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ in Punjabi (Office: ਦਫ਼ਤਰ) argument then

• official mobile partner = ਸਰਕਾਰੀ/ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਪਾਰਟਨਰ

In these specific cases, you can use "ਰਸਮੀ" or even "ਅਧਿਕਾਰਕ" (way too obscure) but since the website is almost always associated with an office, physical or virtual, "ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ" is more common and apt. Yes indeed, ਚੰਗ/ਵਧੀਆ/ਸੁਚੱਜਾ/ਮੁਨਾਸਬ/ਕਾਬਲ would all be right. That's the richness of a language. Coming to ਸੋਹਣਾ, it has the same connotations here as the word beautiful in the sentence: "It's a beautiful initiative". Of course, you can simply say "It's a good initiative" or "It's a nice initiative" but all have their subtle nuances when it comes to meaning. The same works with Punjabi too. Sushil Ji, I understand your frustration. We talked about it earlier too but here I'd like to discuss it again. On Punjabi Wiki, we first look for the most common spelling usage (if it's significant). Munich, though a German city, is too popular in Punjabi literature in its English form to be ignored. So Munich takes precedence over Munchen. The names of these football clubs are rarely found in reliable Punjabi sources. So we stick to the German names and Munchen is used for such cases. Now coming to the controversy of FC. To say that the official name is ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ ਬਾਈਆਨ ਮਿਊਨਿਖ is not really right. You are talking about the official name in English but Punjabi wiki doesn't solely follow English names; the names in native tongues take precedence (see ਮੈਡਰਿਡ, the English pronunciation vs. ਮਾਦਰੀਦ, the Spanish one). Similarly, the official name in the native language German is Fußball-Club Bayern München e.V (ਫ਼ੂਸਬਾਲ-ਕਲੁੱਬ ਬਾਈਆਨ ਮੁਨਸ਼ਨ) or FC Bayern München, the Punjabi spelling for which should not then be ਐੱਫ਼.ਸੀ. but the German pronunciation ਐੱਫ਼.ਤਸੇ. ਬਾਈਆਨ ਮੁਨਸ਼ਨ। The thing is it's a football club after all and we know it so we use the Punjabi convention of putting Football Club after the name. We have not used official names of countries, cities, clubs, landmarks and religious sites on Wiki. We modified them according to the syntax used in Punjabi. This was most conspicuous in the recent articles on Spanish monuments where official names like Catedral de Santa María (ਕਾਤੇਦਰਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਂਤਾ ਮਾਰੀਆ) were changed to ਸਾਂਤਾ ਮਾਰੀਆ ਦਾ ਗਿਰਜਾਘਰ so as to reflect Punjabi nomenclature. After all, we don't call Eiffel Tower by its official name ਲਾ ਤੂਖ਼ ਈਫ਼ੈਲ (La Tour Eiffel), do we? Moreover, look at the Arabic name of the same club. It's بايرن ميونخ (ਬਾਈਅਰਨ ਮਿਊਨਖ਼)। Where's the FC in that name? I hadn't checked this page for awhile. Yes, I'm a big fan of Punjabi food: I've had some in Houston (my hometown) and in China (where I work). Lots of Pakistani students study in China, so I've had Punjabi food there too! Anyway I'm not currently studying Punjabi but I can find some sources on things if you need them!
