சிங்கப்பூரின் சட்டவாக்க அவையை, சிங்கப்பூர் குடியரசுத் தலைவரும், சிங்கப்பூர் நாடாளுமன்றமும் இணைந்து நடத்துகிறது. ஓரவை முறைமையில் அமைந்துள்ள சிங்கப்பூர் நாடாளுமன்றம், மக்களால் தேர்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள், தொகுதியற்ற நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள், பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்ட நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் எனப் பல்வேறு தரப்பினரையும் கொண்டுள்ளது.

2011-ம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற பொதுத்தேர்தலில் 87 நா நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர்; 3 தொகுதியற்ற நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் 12-ம் நாடாளுமன்றத்திற்கு சேர்க்கப்பட்டனர். முதல் அமர்வின் போது 9 பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்ட நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் சேர்க்கப்பட்டனர். இவர்களுடைய பதவிக்காலம், 9 அக்டோபர் 2016 உடன் முடிவடைகிறது.
