Behavior at AfD
Hey, @InfiniteNexus. I just wanted to swing by and say to you that saying things like Their talk page says otherwise.... still can be considered a personal attack as you are wanting to make a statement on the editor and not on the content. Next time, try to make statements relating towards the content. You are stepping close to an interaction ban with the other editor. Thanks, Cowboygilbert - (talk) โฅ03:03, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Cowboygilbert: Noted, though I will say that references to another editor's behavior is not necessarily a personal attack (especially if worded neutrally), and it was certainly not my intention. But I appreciate the word of advice. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:08, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am going to second this as I was considering a similar discussion here. I have already consider collapsing parts of the AfD that had involved some of your comments, including the one already mentioned, though I am trying to refrain. I do think that the line into incivility was crossed, but I just going to hope that those discussion die down and focus can return to the AfD. Please take this to ANI if you feel like the other user is breaking their restriction. --Super Goku V (talk) 05:09, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Super Goku V: I agree the replies to my two original comments have spiraled out of control, sometimes veering off-topic. I stressed in the AfD that I do not think the other editor is acting in bad faith and do not think they should be disciplined for one mistake, only given a warning as I have done so. I genuinely did not anticipate the forceful reaction to my comments that noted their past behavior for context, and have addressed these concerns in my reply to RachelTensions. To be a bit clearer, it isn't just your comments and it isn't just those two discussions, though yours were the most concerning to me. I will apologize for the misunderstanding of your warning. --Super Goku V (talk) 05:31, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, InfiniteNexus. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "El Muerto".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
@Wikigracht: Thank you for doing that. I will look at those when I have time, but not right now as I have my hands full at the moment. Other editors might get to your requests first, now that you've added the template. InfiniteNexus (talk) 12:25, 25 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@ScarletViolet: I don't think it's necessary, as the question does not often come up outside of RMs and the answer is fairly straightforward, but I would recommend consulting other editors' opinions on a "public" talk page rather than on my user talk page.
