ਸੰਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ

ਸੰਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ (ਭਾਵ "ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ" ) ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਿਤ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੀ ਇੱਕ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ।^[1][2] ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, ਹਿੰਦੀ - ਉਰਦੂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਪ-ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਠਕ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।^{[ਹਵਾਲਾ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ]}

ਸੰਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ `ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੀ ਮਿਲ਼ਦੀ ਹੈ।^[3][4][5][6] ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਪ-ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ, ਲਹਿੰਦੀ, ਖੇਤਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਰਿਤ, ਅਪਭ੍ਰੰਸ਼, ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ, ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ( ਬ੍ਰਜਭਾਸ਼ਾ, ਬੰਗਰੂ, ਅਵਧੀ, ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਹਿੰਦੀ, ਡਕਨੀ, ਭੋਜਪੁਰੀ ), ਸਿੰਧੀ, ਮਰਾਠੀ, ਮਾਰਵਾੜੀ, ਬੰਗਾਲੀ, ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਅਰਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸੰਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਲਿਪੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।^[7][8]

ਸੰਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤਿਕ ਤਤਸਮ ਉਧਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲੀ ਤਦਭਵ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ।^[9]
