உரோமைப் பேரரசின் எகிப்திய மாகாணம் (Roman province of Egypt) (இலத்தீன்: Aegyptus, பண்டைய எகிப்தை கிமு 305 முதல் ஆண்ட கிரேக்கர்களின் தாலமி வம்சத்த்தின் ஏழாம் கிளியோபாற்றா மற்றும் மார்க் ஆண்டனியையும்^[2] கிமு 30-இல் வென்ற உரோமைப் பேரரசர் அகஸ்ட்டஸ், எகிப்தை ரோமானியப் பேரரசின் ஒரு மாகாணாக நிறுவி, அதனை நிர்வகிக்க ஒரு ஆளுநரை நிறுவினர். ^[3]^[4] ^[5]எகிப்திய மாகாணத்தின் தலைநகராக அலெக்சாந்திரியா துறைமுக நகரம் விளங்கியது.^[6]

கிபி 390-இல் கிரேக்க பைசாந்தியப் பேரரசினர் ரோமானியர்களிடமிருந்து எகிப்தை கைப்பற்றி கிபி 641 வரை ஆண்டனர். கிபி 619 முதல் கிபி 628 வரை பாரசீகத்தின் சாசானியர்கள் எகிப்தை கைப்பற்றி ஆண்டனர். பின்னர் மீண்டும் பைசாந்திய கிரேக்கர்கள், சாசானியர்களிடமிருந்து எகிப்தை கைப்பற்றினர். கிபி 641-இல் ராசிதீன் கலீபாக்கள் பைசாந்தியப் பேரரசின் எகிப்தியப் பகுதிகளை கைப்பற்றினர்

கிபி முதல் நூற்றாண்டில் இதன் மக்கள்தொகை 4 முதல் 8 மில்லியன் எனக்கருதப்படுகிறது.^[7]
