இரண்டாம் ராமேசஸ்^[3]^[4] ^[5]) புது எகிப்திய இராச்சியத்தை ஆண்ட 19வது வம்சத்தின் முன்றாவது பார்வோன் ஆவார். பண்டைய எகிப்தை ஆட்சி செய்த அரசர்களிலேயே சிறந்த மற்றும் வலிமை வாய்ந்த அரசராக போற்றப்படுபவர் இரண்டாம் ராமேசஸஸ். இவர் பிறந்த ஆண்டு கிமு 1305. இவர் தனது 14-ம் அகவையில் இளவரசராகவும், 20-ம் அகவையில் எகிப்து‎ அரியணையேறி கிமு 1279 முதல் கிமு 1213 முடிய மொத்தம் 66 ஆண்டுகள் இரண்டு மாதங்கள் எகிப்தின் மன்னராக ஆட்சிபுரிந்தார். ^[6]தன் அட்சிகாலத்தில் மொத்தம் 14 சேத் திருவிழாக்களை கொண்டடிய பெருமை இவருக்கு உண்டு. மற்ற எகிப்திய மன்னர்களோடு ஒப்பிடும் பொழுது இது ஒரு சாதனையாகும். இவரது சிறந்த ஆட்சிக் காலத்தை எகிப்தியவியல் அறிஞர்கள் ராமேசியம் காலம் என்பர். முதலாம் சேத்தியின் மகனான இரண்டாம் ராமேசசின மனைவி பெயர் நெபர்தரி ஆகும்.

இவர் பண்டைய அண்மை கிழக்கு பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ள மெசொப்பொத்தேமியாவின் இட்டைட்டு பேரரசு மற்றும் தெற்கு எகிப்திற்கு கீழ் உள்ள நூபியா பகுதிகள், மற்றும் லிபியா பகுதிகளை வென்றவர்.

இவர் எகிப்தை ஆண்ட முதல் வம்ச மன்னர்கள் முதல் 18-ஆம் வம்ச பார்வோன்களின் பெயர்கள் வரை, பாபிரஸ் எனும் காகிதத்திலும், அபிதோஸ் கோயில் சுவரின் கற்பலகையில் குறுங்கல்வெட்டுகளாக பொறித்து வைத்தார். அவைகளை துரின் மன்னர்கள் பட்டியல் மற்றும் அபிதோஸ் மன்னர்கள் பட்டியல் என்பர்.

இரண்டாம் ராமேசசின் ஆட்சிக்காலத்தில் எழுப்பப்பட்ட மற்றும் செம்மைபடுத்தப்பட்ட கட்டிடத் தொகுதிகள் பின் வருமாறு;

3 ஏப்ரல் 2021 அன்று எகிப்திய அருங்காட்சியகத்திலிருந்த 18 பார்வோன்கள் மற்றும் 4 அரசிகளின் மம்மிகளை எகிப்திய பண்பாட்டின் தேசிய அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் வைப்பதற்கு அழகிய வண்டிகளில் ஏற்றி, அணிவகுப்பாக எடுத்துச் செல்லும் போது பார்வோன் இரண்டாம் ராமேசஸ் மம்மியும் எடுத்துச் செல்லப்பட்டது. ^[7]^[7]
